The Intergovernmental Committee of the UNESCO Convention on Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH – Intangible Cultural Heritage) met in Paris (11/26/2014) has decided to enter in the heritage: “LA VITE AD ALBERELLO DI PANTELLERIA”, an agricultural practice that is a unique grape growing, passed down from generation to generation in the community of Pantelleria. The tree bush is low and repaired by a basin of land designed to enable the production of grape and the life of the plant in adverse weather conditions that characterize Pantelleria for 9/10 months a year.
